Our services ensure that goods reach their destinations worldwide quickly, safely and efficiently. We handle the receipt, storage and preparation of both import and export freight. This means that we sort, store goods safely and prepare them for further distribution. Compliance Officer (28-38 hours)
Are you an organizational talent with an eye for compliance and communication?
As a Compliance Officer, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and providing clear, internal communication. You are the point of contact for colleagues and play a key role in strengthening our internal processes.
- Together with our head office in France, you will carry out checks on compliance with both internal and external laws and regulations;
- Advising management and relevant departments on GDPR & compliance issues;
- Managing and updating policies and guidelines (such as integrity, data protection);
- Coordinating the response to incidents, including data breaches, unusual transactions, and suspected fraud cases;
- Coordinating projects from the head office with regard to GDPR, compliance and data protection, among other things;
- Promoting awareness of compliance within the organization;
- Cross-functional involvement: Collaboration with other departments such as Operations, HR, HSSE and Finance.
This position requires you:
- A legal background or 2–4 years of experience;
- You have an excellent eye for detail;
- An excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages, both orally and in writing;
- You take initiative and have a proactive work attitude;
- Knowledge of laws and regulations such as GDPR, KYC, anti-money laundering, conflicts of interest is an advantage;
- Affinity with internal communication, possibly with experience in a similar role;
- You are structured, independent, accurate and have strong communication skills;
- You feel comfortable in a pivotal role and dare to take responsibility;
- You have strong persuasiveness and are goal-oriented, innovative, flexible and stress-resistant.
