To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with operations and management to improve and standardize processes within our organization.
You will be active within both the cargo office and the warehouse, playing a key role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements. You will work closely with operations to ensure that process changes are not only introduced but also consistently followed.
The role is primarily office-based, with working hours from Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required to support operations when needed, for example in shifts or weekends.
What will you do?
- Analyze processes and identify inefficiencies within the cargo office and warehouse
- Support the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Guide and sustain process changes within operations
- Engage employees and supervisors in improvements and create buy-in
- Conduct analyses such as time studies, workflow analyses, and root cause analyses
- Work with CI methodologies such as 5S and PDCA
- Monitor performance through KPIs, dashboards, and audits
- Support supervisors in improving processes and working methods
What do you bring?
- Experience in an operational environment such as warehousing, logistics, or air cargo
- Affinity with process improvement and Continuous Improvement
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to engage people in change
- Structured working style and proactive mindset
- Experience with Lean methodologies is a plus (or willingness to learn, e.g., via Green Belt)
