Data Entry Employee
Are you a data-driven specialist with in-depth knowledge of air freight processes and a keen eye for compliance? Then WFS offers you the opportunity to play a crucial role in our international operation at Schiphol. In this position, you are not only responsible for the correct entry of data – you monitor the integrity of the data flow between internal systems, Cargo Office and airlines, and ensure compliance with international aviation regulations (e.g. IATA, eAWB).
Your tasks
- Accurate and timely processing of sensitive shipment information in multiple air cargo systems, with zero tolerance for deviations;
- Managing data flows between Cargo Office and airlines, including resolving data conflicts and process disruptions;
- Ensuring compliance with aviation and customs regulations (e.g. AWB validation, dangerous goods, security screening, export documentation);
- Active monitoring of operational KPIs, deadlines and quality reports; identifying risks and initiating corrective actions;
- Act as an operational sparring partner for airlines, customs and internal departments, including participation in audits and process improvement projects.
Your profile:
- Minimum MBO+ diploma with relevant work experience within air freight, aviation logistics or cargo handling;
- Very good knowledge of air cargo systems, such as Cargospot, CHAMP, E-link, or similar;
- Experience with international air freight standards and compliance requirements (such as IATA, E-AWB, MAWB/HAWB structures);
- Strong analytical and communication skills, you are able to independently identify and solve problems within tight timelines;
- Willingness to work in shifts (including nights/weekends); After all, Schiphol is always running;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
