Logistics Personnel Planner

Are you passionate about solving logistical challenges? As a logistics planner, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of internal and external logistics. As a Planner, you will be in charge of scheduling shifts in the warehouse and office. Due to the enormous diversity in cargo flights, it is essential to have proper staffing in the schedules to ensure seamless operations. Every day is different due to a constant flow of goods on both the import and export sides.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the point of contact for the entire planning process
  • Managing the team's weekly schedules
  • Implementing ad hoc changes in the schedule and informing relevant parties
  • Monitoring the planning and contributing to improvements
  • Planning ahead for an extended period, considering various laws and regulations
  • Various administrative tasks
  • Communication with different departments
  • Identifying capacity issues regarding staffing and taking action

This role requires:

  • MBO level of education and thinking
  • Flexibility and stress resistance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical, accurate, and able to maintain an overview
  • Ability to work independently and handle responsibility
  • Proactive in preventing and resolving operational challenges as a priority
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken
