To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Tracing Employee. In this role, you will be responsible for tracing cargo when irregularities have occurred during transport or storage. You will investigate these cases by performing warehouse checks, using digital systems and, when necessary, going into the warehouse yourself to physically locate and verify cargo.
You systematically and persistently gather the information required to correctly handle tracing cases. In doing so, you will maintain contact with customers, government authorities, shippers, consignees and various internal departments.
You will also monitor both physical and system inventory on a daily basis. When you identify discrepancies or irregularities, you coordinate with the relevant departments and ensure that the appropriate actions are taken.
You compile case files, monitor their progress and maintain a clear overview of outstanding irregularities. As our operation runs 24/7, this position requires you to work irregular shifts (no night shifts).
What do you bring?
• Minimum MBO working and thinking level or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience within air cargo
• Knowledge of air cargo processes
• Experience with Cargospot is an advantage
• Good command of both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge of Outlook
• You work accurately and systematically and are able to maintain a clear overview
• You are service-oriented and have a practical, no-nonsense mentality
• You are persistent and solution-oriented when investigating irregularities
• You are able to work independently and communicate effectively with various internal and external parties
• You are flexible and willing to work irregular shifts
• Applying for a VGB (Certificate of No Objection) is part of the recruitment process
