To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Transport Coordinator who will be responsible for planning and coordinating transport activities for our customers.
In this role, you will coordinate road transport for import and export cargo and ensure that transport orders are carried out correctly and on time. You will be in daily contact with transport companies, warehouses and other parties involved, ensuring that everyone has the right information at the right time.
You will also process incoming transport orders and offline handling orders and ensure that all related administration is handled correctly. You will maintain an overview of ongoing transport activities, identify irregularities and respond quickly when schedules change or operational challenges arise.
In addition to daily transport planning, you will support the administrative and financial processes. You will prepare reports for monthly invoicing and check incoming invoices.
As a Transport Coordinator, you know how to set priorities and maintain an overview, even during busy periods. You are able to work independently, communicate effectively with different parties and proactively contribute to solutions.
What do you bring?
• Minimum MBO working and thinking level or equivalent
• Affinity with planning, transport and logistics
• You are flexible and able to perform well under pressure
• You have a proactive approach and are able to set priorities effectively
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• You are able to work independently and take responsibility for your work
• You are solution-oriented and able to anticipate operational challenges
• Good command of both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing
• You have a professional attitude and work accurately
