To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Transport Employee who is responsible for the transportation of cargo to and from aircraft and between our different locations.
In this role, you work as part of a team that manages the complete transport process, including the correct handling of accompanying documentation. You play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of cargo at one of the busiest airports in the world.
You carry out transport assignments according to planning and ensure that cargo is delivered on time and at the correct locations. You transport goods using a cargo tractor and check shipments for numbers, documentation, and completeness.
You identify and report any irregularities in a timely manner. In addition, you ensure the correct handover of cargo and documentation to platform staff or external handlers.
You are able to work both independently and as part of a team and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.
What do you bring?
• Minimum VMBO level (secondary vocational education) or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license (Category B)
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure (continuous shift schedule)
• Good command of the Dutch and English language
• Ability to work accurately both independently and in a team
• Experience in a similar role within air cargo is a plus
• A security screening (VGB) is part of the application process
