Warehouse (Assistent) Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in leading a cohesive team of warehouse colleagues;
  • Contribute to optimal staff planning, based on forecasts;
  • Act as a relationship builder by translating customer needs into the operational process and monitoring KPIs;
  • Assist in regular meetings with customers and monitoring agreed objectives;
  • Assist in identifying and analyzing process deviations, making improvement proposals, and implementing process optimizations;
  • Actively contribute to continuous process improvements to increase efficiency;
  • Help in setting and pursuing objectives to meet targets, and adjust as necessary;
  • Support in conducting performance and absenteeism discussions;
  • Contribute to maintaining policies and measures focused on quality, safety, health, and environment;
  • Report to the Warehouse Manager.


This position requires from you:

  • HBO level of working and thinking;
  • Experience in logistics is a must;
  • Able to work flexible shifts and times;
  • Strong personality and at the same time a People Manager;
  • Insight into office and warehouse processes (operational and administrative);
  • Proven experience in leading a department with various disciplines;
  • You are analytically skilled and can steer on numbers and productivity;
  • Able to quickly find solutions to unexpected challenges.
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying HR-related tools;
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
  • You have a strong power of persuasion, in addition, you are goal-oriented, innovative, flexible, and stress-resistant.
