The role Warehouse Supervisor
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management of logistics processes within our warehouse operation. You ensure that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with applicable quality standards.
You will be actively present on the work floor and serve as the first point of contact for your team and operational matters. You will guide, coach and motivate employees while creating a positive and productive working environment. You will also conduct performance reviews and sickness absence meetings and contribute to the development of your team.
You will monitor daily operations, identify bottlenecks and take timely action when necessary. You know how to set the right priorities and work closely with different departments to ensure smooth logistics processes.
You will also maintain contact with customers regarding operational matters and report directly to the Senior Warehouse Manager. As our operation runs 24/7, this position requires you to work irregular shifts.
What do you bring?
- Minimum mbo degree level of working and thinking or equivalent;
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role;
- Experience in conducting performance reviews and sickness absence meetings;
- Knowledge of operational and administrative warehouse processes;
- Good computer skills;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations;
- The ability to coach, motivate and develop employees;
- You are flexible, stress-resistant and solution-oriented;
- You are decisive, proactive and able to set priorities;
- You can work independently and take responsibility;
- You are willing to work irregular shifts;
