Our company is growing, and we are looking for a Workforce Optimisation Manager. Are you analytically strong, experienced in workforce planning and skilled at aligning people, processes and costs? Then we are looking for you!
What will you do?
As a Workforce Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for optimising workforce planning, capacity and productivity across our operational departments. You ensure that the right people are deployed at the right time, while considering operational requirements, labour costs and customer agreements.
You will lead a team of Workforce Planners and Business Analysts and work closely with Operations, HR and Finance. You will also collaborate with the regional Operational Excellence team and translate the workforce strategy into practical improvements within WFS.
Using data analysis, forecasts and reports, you will identify bottlenecks and advise management on workforce deployment, productivity and cost efficiency. You will monitor labour budgets and contribute to an efficient and future-proof operation.
You will also play an important role in improving and digitalising our planning processes. You take initiative, lead improvement projects and ensure that new ways of working are successfully implemented.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Business Administration, Logistics or an analytical field;
- Proven experience in workforce planning, capacity management or operational management;
- Experience in leading and developing employees;
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, forecasting and reporting;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Power BI or similar analytical tools;
- Financial insight and knowledge of labour costs, budgeting and productivity;
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- A proactive and decisive approach, with the ability to connect and collaborate across different departments;
- The ability to work under pressure and maintain an overview in a dynamic environment.
