Workforce planner

At Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of the SATS Group, more than 50,000 colleagues work worldwide. We also play an important role at Schiphol. We ensure that goods reach their destination quickly, safely and efficiently. Every day, the whole world quite literally passes through our operation.

Our company is growing rapidly. This shows that we are healthy and future-oriented. Are you the planner we are looking for, ready to use your planning skills to keep our operation running smoothly?

What will you do?

As a workforce planner in logistics, you ensure that everything runs smoothly. You maintain an overview and make sure that our warehouse and office teams always have the right people in the right place at the right time. Because we work with a 24-hour roster, no day is the same. One day you focus on early shifts, the next on late or night shifts. This variety makes the job dynamic and challenging. At the same time, you closely monitor compliance with working hours legislation, rest periods and age-related regulations.

You are the central point of contact for everything related to personnel planning. You create and manage weekly schedules for various teams, adjust them when operational changes are needed and ensure everyone is informed in time. Employees come to you with questions about their schedule, leave or availability, and you can also explain agreements from the collective labour agreement (CLA). Thanks to your overview and approach, you prevent surprises and ensure that the planning aligns with daily operations.

In addition, you look ahead. You identify staffing bottlenecks in a timely manner, contribute ideas for improvements and coordinate with different departments to continuously improve the planning. Due to the constant flow of import and export cargo, there is always movement, requiring flexibility and quick action.

At WFS, you are given the space to proactively come up with solutions, optimise processes and make a real impact on the daily operation. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to use your analytical and organisational skills. If you get energy from planning, coordinating and optimising, this is the perfect role for you.

What do you bring?

• MBO level of working and thinking and experience with planning in a dynamic environment;
• Flexible, stress-resistant and able to set priorities;
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• Analytical, accurate and able to maintain an overview;
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for tasks;
• Proactive in preventing and solving problems.

What do we offer you?

• Salary based on education and experience;
• Travel allowance and parking facilities;
• Flexible starting times;
• A position for 32 to 40 hours per week;
• A pension scheme with the majority paid by the employer;
• Career development opportunities and training at our own training centre;
• A workplace with aircraft always in sight.
