Workforce Planner

At Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of the SATS Group, more than 50,000 colleagues work worldwide. At Schiphol, we also play an important role. We ensure that goods reach their destination quickly, safely, and efficiently. Every day, the whole world quite literally passes through our operations.

Our company is growing rapidly, which shows that we are healthy and future-focused. Are you the planner we are looking for, and do you want to use your planning skills to keep our operations running smoothly?

What will you do?

As a workforce planner in logistics, you ensure everything runs smoothly. You maintain oversight and make sure our warehouse and office teams are staffed with the right people at the right time. Because we operate in a 24/7 schedule, no two days are the same. One day you focus on early shifts, the next on late or night shifts. This variety makes the job dynamic and challenging. At the same time, you ensure that everything complies with labor laws, rest periods, and age regulations.

You are the central point of contact for all workforce planning matters. You create and manage weekly schedules for multiple teams, adjust them when operations require it, and ensure everyone knows where they stand. Employees come to you with questions about their schedules, leave, or availability, and you are able to explain agreements based on the collective labor agreement (CAO). Thanks to your overview and structured approach, you prevent surprises and ensure planning aligns with daily operations.

You also look ahead. You identify staffing bottlenecks, think along about improvements, and collaborate with different departments to continuously optimize planning. Due to the constant flow of import and export cargo, the operation is always moving and requires flexibility and quick decision-making.

With us, you get the opportunity to proactively develop solutions, improve processes, and make a real impact on daily operations. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to apply your analytical and organizational skills. If you enjoy planning, coordinating, and optimizing, this is the perfect role for you.

What do you bring?

• MBO-level education and experience in planning within a dynamic environment
• Flexible, stress-resistant, and able to set priorities
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Analytical, accurate, and able to maintain overview
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility
• Proactive in preventing and solving problems

What do we offer you?

• Salary depending on education and experience
• Travel allowance and parking facilities
• Flexible start times
• A position for 32 to 40 hours per week
• A pension scheme in which we cover the majority of the contribution
• Career growth opportunities and training in our own training center
• A workplace where airplanes are always in sight
